The Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB) in conjunction with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has released the results of the Junior Certificate of Education (JCE) Examinations.

In a statement made available to FaceofMalawi, out of 134,490 candidates who wrote the 2015 JCE examinations 91,223 candidates have passed. This represents a pass rate of 67.8 % pass rate.

According to MANEB, the pass rate has decreased by 6 percent compared to last year where 124,999 candidates wrote the examinations and91, 539 passed representing 73.23% pass rate.

In a statement, MANEB has advised students that their results will be available at the centers where they registered.

“All candidates wishing to query their results should do so in writing through their heads of school where they registered. MANEB will not entertain any query about the results made directly to the Board by candidates or any other individual,” reads in part the statement.

MANEB says all queries should reach the board by 7th October, 2015.
