The reigning Miss Malawi Susan Ntegha is geared to start off her trip to Mongolia China to participate in the 2012 Miss World pageant in July, after receiving a boost from the ministry of tourism.
The Ministry has sponsored to meet travel expenses for the reigning queen worth over K1 million, after fears emerged that she might miss the world pageant for the lack of money to buy an air Travel.
Managers of Miss Malawi Artistic Agency earlier this month told the press that they don’t have enough resources to get Ntegha to travel for the international pageant slated for August 18th.
Organizers of the world pageant also gave the local managers a deadline of June end to finalize registration requirements for the local beauty queen.
Director for the Artistic Agency Vitu Kamanga said they have now secured her transport expenses but just remain with a few things to complete the registration.
The country’s beauty queen is expected to leave the country on July 15th for Ordos Inner Mongolia.
