A group of 15 Microsoft employees is in Malawi to help secondary schools set up computer laboratories.

The initiative is being done under the Malawi Learning Partnership which was established in 2011.

The initiative is a community networking project using Information, Communication and Technology tools to connect students and teachers to give them access to critical learning resources.

Microsoft General Manager for Customer Service and Support Mr. John Nielsen said the visit will help to improve standards of ICT in Malawian schools.
