Flames striker Esau Kanyenda’s team, Polokwane City Club, was involved in a car accident on Sunday evening as they were coming from a game against Atlie FC formerly FC AK.
According to SABC, four players died on the spot after the bus the team was travelling in collided with another bus at Nobody near Polokwane in Limpopo.
The bus collided with another car at a four-way stop and the other bus then slammed into it, causing it to overturn.
