Five Malawian museums have now been computerized easing challenges in accessing information about culture, thanks to the American government for pumping in K5 million to improve conservation and documentation of museum collections.

Through the funds, new environmental monitoring and security equipment have also been installed at Top Mandala Museum storage in Blantyre for the preservation of museum collections.

Principle Secretary in the ministry of Tourism Wild life and Culture Mr. Fletcher Zengeneya has described the development as a stepping stone in promoting Malawian cultural heritage to the lest of the world.
