Police arrest five, impound 45 bags of Indian hemp

Police in Nathenje, Lilongwe, on Monday intercepted a truck carrying 45 bags of Indian hemp each weighing about 90 kilogrammes. Lilongwe Police spokesperson Ramsy Mushani said so far, five suspect have been arrested in connection with the 45 bags. he identified the suspects as Chipiliro Nakotcha (32), Sandfall Makawa (35), Simeon Mbewe (47), George Nkhoma (23) and Mphatso Mwanza (32).
