Police says they have completed investigations into the death of former Polytechnic student Robert Chasowa and now await instructions from the Director of Public Prosecutions on way forward. Inspector General Lot Dzonzi disclosed this to reporters in Lilongwe on New Year’s eve. Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Bruno Kalemba confirmed the development later saying he is now studying the findings to make appropriate action. If the files are complete, we will be going to court for prosecution. If there are gaps, we will send the files back further investigations. If we feel there are no cases, we will drop the cases, Kalemba said.
