Reports indicate that Vice President Khumbo Kachali is among the people who advised President Joyce Banda to go to Equatorial Guinea. Kachali told President Banda that everything will be alright and that he would take care of the strikers.
Khumbo Kachali has managed to corrupt the minds of most of President Joyce Banda’s advisors ensuring that they should be giving her wrong advise. This is his new tactic after he learnt of the secret meetings that President Banda has been having Speaker with Parliament speaker Chimunthu Banda.
President Banda is widely believed to be courting Chimunthu Banda to become her running mate should she decide to defy doctor’s orders and still stand in 2014. The courting of Chimunthu, who is believed to be power hungry is an effort by President Banda to destabilize the opposition DPP.
