A 60 year old man has died at Tengani health centre in Nsanje district after health workers at the facility failed to give him medical attention.
The deceased Ussen Guzuwe was attacked by a crocodile in the early hours of Sunday in shire river and survived with multiple wounds.
Upon arrival at the health facility it is alleged that the medical workers did not attend to him claiming they were still observing civil servants national wide strike.
Meanwhile communities in the area have asked health authorities in the district transfer medical workers at the facility.
