All roads lead to Area 18 Lodge in Lilongwe tonight where the Friends of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) have organized a fundraiser and dance dubbed Blue Night.
According to one of the organisers, Martin Nkasala the Blue Night aims at rising funds for the children’s ward at the Kamuzu Central Hospital, which of rate has been affected with shortage of beds and medicine.
Recently, the local media was washed with reports that almost six children are sharing a single bed at the referral hospital due to lack of resources.
Over the past weeks, DPP has also come to the rescue of the people who were affected by the floods in the central and southern regions where they provided food and other basic needs.
