Football Association of Malawi(Fam) is today expected to unveil new technical panel of Eddington Ng’onamo and his two assistants Patrick Mabedi and Earnest Mtawali.
Fam was on Monday locked in a meeting with the trio as it formerly offered them the job of caretaker coaches until June.
During their tenure the three will be in charge of the Flames World Cup qualifiers against Namibia, Kenya and Nigeria.
Fam general secretary Suzgo Nyirenda pleaded for patience when asked over the details of the meeting.
“We will meet the technical panel first and after the meeting there will be a press briefing on Tuesday where the coaches will be formerly unveiled and you can ask all the questions you want,” Nyirenda said.
Meanwhile, upon arrival from South Africa, Mabedi and Mtawali said they were ready to serve the nation.
The duo said they appreciated what the country had made them to be and would want to give back to the society.
However, they both pleaded for support if they are to succeed in their jobs.
Meanwhile, players that had been called for the March 23 World Cup qualifiers started trickling in yesterday ahead the training.
Malawi are third in Group F with two points which has leaders Nigeria with four points, Namibia on second position with three points and Kenya at the bottom with a point.
