DPP leader Peter Mutharika has arrived in Lilongwe, in a police van, and is expected to be taken to Lumbadzi Police Station, where other party members are also being kept.
Meanwhile, the DPP has assembled a team of lawyers comprising Alan Chinula, Bright Theu, Ian Malera, Kalekeni Kaphale and Chancy Gondwe to represent its officials in the charges that are arranging from ‘insinuating to break a law’ and ‘blocking government officials from executing their duties’.
