Lilongwe High Court adjourns bail hearing for ‘coup plotters’ to 2PM

After a very heated arguments between lawyers of both sides, the Lilongwe High court has adjourned the case to 2PM.
The adjournment is also meant to to give the defence and prosecuting teams to consult each other on the way froward of the case.
After the defence lawyers presented their arguments, backing their bail application, the prosecuting attorneys countered argued saying looking at the nature of the case, the accused individuals don’t deserve a bail.
This created a stand-off, forcing the court to adjourn for the lawyers from both sides to consult on each other on the way forward.
