Retired basketball stars head to Malawi tomorrow for a series of friendly matches against their counterparts. The Easter Holiday matches are aimed at promoting bilateral ties to contribute to the development of the sport in the two countries.

The Lusaka-based Scuds president Mayford Chikoya said they will play two games in Lilongwe and one in Salima. The first match will be against Kuzisaka of Lilongwe at ABC Court, the second against Falcons of Blantyre, and the third against Hoops.

The team includes Sekelani Banda, Raymond Chella, Charles Nakhoze, Christopher Kampamba, Kenny Kapaya and Kwaye Nsundwe.
Others are Dickson Chalikulima, Suba Lungu, Evans Lwanga, former trophy-winning Premium Hawks coach Leon Mphele, FIBA coaching expert Godfrey ‘Goofy’ Mwanza and Amusaa Zaza.
