Nicholas Dausi speaking at the 2013 DPP convention being held in Blantyre. At the beginning of the speech, Dausi acknowledged the presence of representatives from other political parties insisting that “we are all Malawians” though we may differ in vision and policy. He then launches into a lament of how since the death of Dr Bingu Wa Mutharika, the DPP has been politically persecuted.
