Malawi players refused to train on Tuesday and threatened not to honour Wednesday’s make-or-break 2014 World Cup qualifier against Kenya’s Harambee Stars over non payment off their allowances. The players left the training pitch at Kamuzu Stadium.
In the afternoon
Football Association of Malawi has promised to pay each national team player K100,000 if they manage to beat Kenya in the World Cup qualifier. The association has also said it would settle all outstanding dues for the players after the Kenya game tomorrow reports Joy Ndovi.
