Calls continue pouring in for President Joyce Banda not to ascent to the just passed Land Bill, until a thorough clarification is made to Chiefs as regards to their powers on the customary land.
The latest call has been made by Traditional leaders in Mwanza district, who have faulted the authorities for not consulting thoroughly on the issue before presenting the bill to parliament.
They expressed fears that the proposed bill if passed into law would strip them of their powers on the customary land.
