A 20 year old girl Alefa Chasweka of Target Private School in the commercial city of Blantyre, has commited suicide by hanging with a rope in Manyowe Township. Blantyre Police Relations Sergeant Lameck Thembachako, confirmed the development but said the cause of her suicide is yet to be registred.
In another related development, an 18 year old Innocent Mdala of St Bosco Secondary School in Mzimba was also found hanging in a room at Jenda Lodge with 100 tablets of Panado down the flow which according to Mzimba police spokesman Sergeant Gift Nyirongo, was his plan B should the hanging methodology failed. The reason of his suicide is also yet to be recorded.
