Muslims in Malawi and the rest of the world enter the month of Ramadan.

Muslims in Malawi and the rest of the world are observing a month of fasting known as Ramadan.

Here in Malawi, the fast is expected to begin tomorrow, while in other parts of the world they started obligatory thirty days of abstinence from drink, food and intimate relations from sunrise to sunset.

Muslims also mark the fast with prayers, meditation, and charity towards the poor and needy.
