Newly appointed Flames coach Tom Saintfiet has included Flames captain Joseph Kamwendo in the squad that is expected to leave for the Cosafa Cup in Zambia on Wednesday.
The coach has also included goalkeeper Simplex Nthala, defender Moses Chavula and striker Chiukepo Msowoya in the squad that faces Zimbabwe in the quarterfinals this Saturday.
Chavula, Msowoya and Kamwendo were part of the Flames that played Namibia and Kenya in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers but Nthala returns after a long spell due to an injury.
The players expected to travel to Zambia are:
Goalkeepers -Simplex Nthala, Owen Chaima
Defenders – Moses Chavula, James Sangala, Bongani Kaipa, George Nyirenda, John Lanjesi, Douglas Chirambo
Midfielders – Dave Banda, Frank Banda, Joseph Kamwendo, Micium Mhone, Chimango Kayira, Young Chimodzi Junior, Ndaziona Chatsalira, Fischer Kondowe
