Super Eagles psychologist, Robinson Okosun is in bullish mood ahead of the World Cup qualifier against Malawi this evening.

Okosun exclusively told supersport.com that he spent hours accessing the mental state of all 23 players of the squad and gave a pass mark after his examination of the playing personnel of the reigning African champions.

Okosun says many people think football is all about going into the pitch and playing, but at this level, football is much more complicated than that and that makes the job of the psychologist vital.

He revealed that he spent the most amount of time discussing with three players of the squad; John Obi Mikel, Victor Moses and Sunday Mba.

The Super Eagles will go head to head against the Flames in a straightforward battle for a playoff spot for the 2014 Fifa world cup in Brazil. -SuperSport.com
