Carlsberg Malawi Ltd the sponsors of Carlsberg Malawi Cup has revealed that the company will make a decision after the finals of the cup this coming saturday at the Mzuzu Stadium either to continue with the sponsorship or pullout.
The decision has come in a wake of violence which ensured during the quarterfinal and semifinal matches between Redlions/Envirom and Blantyre United/Kamuzu Barracks respectively both at the Kamuzu Stadium.
This announcement comes barely two months after they (Carlsberg) withdrew their sponsorship from two top teams in the superleague and in the history of football in Malawi, Mighty Wanderers and Bullets Fc + Hon.
