Possibly scared by the impending demonstrations by concerned customers of the sole electricity suppliers of the country, ESCOM, that were being brewed by one human rights activist, Billy Mayaya, the body has announced that their erratic system of providing electricity will come back to its ‘normality’ on Sunday, September 16.

According to ESCOM Director of Generation, Evans Msiska, the corporation (with the help of the Chinese) was upgrading its system at Kapichira Falls and that was why their customers felt (and still feel) such a powerful system failure.

ESCOM says by Sunday all will be in order as the system will have been upgraded from producing 64 Megawatts to 124 Megawatts, a development that will also see a steady improvement in the power provision of the corporation to the nation.
