He will no longer sing Ndamusowa. The collaborations with Zambia’s Dalisoul are no more. That album, Ndere, has come to an end. He will not want to be associated with it, apparently.

Perhaps it is the controversy that came with his being associated with the BBA The Chase Housemate, Fatima, that saw his affair on the rocks but urban musician Armstrong Kalua has announced that finally he has quit secular music. For good. He is going to the other extreme side of the fence: gospel music.

Having a feeling that he has been called by God, Kalua, has hinted that his music will now be a ministry, not of human love but of God. He has a mission and that is to call people to God.

According to his own Facebook post, Kalua has been communicated to by God to serve His (God’s) purpose of calling people to His kingdom for His coming is at hand.

Apparently, before he fully quits the secular industry, Armstrong will take a bow at the Carlsberg organized Liquideep show in Lilongwe today (Sunday, September 15).

Let us only hope that the world will not come to an end before or while he is on stage!
