Vendors take on each other in Lilongwe

Vendors at old town in Lilongwe have turned on each other after city authorities failed to remove other vendors plying their trade in the streets.

Reports from the capital indicate that vendors who operate from designated places have moved in into the streets to remove their counterparts by force as they affect their own businesses by getting it closer in the streets.

Meanwhile, Police have moved in to quell the situation.
