Political analyst, Mustapha Hussein, has said unequivocally so that the calls for President Joyce Banda to cut short her visit to the US are baseless.

According to Zodiak Broadcasting Station, Hussein was reacting to the calls by DPP president, Peter Mutharika, who called on the President to come back and deal with the corruption crisis that is currently rocking her administration.

The call was first made by activist Seodi White but was met by a cold shoulder as well.

However, analyst Hussein has backed up JB and has said there is no need for President Banda to come back home.

Senegalese president, Macky Sall, had to cut short his visit to the US after water problems rocked the capital, Dakar.
