The Super League Of Malawi Association (SULOM) has slapped Mighty Wanderers coach and his assistant for abusing the officiating team over their match with Red Lions.

The two, Stuart Mbolembole and Chiyembekezo Zidana, are said to have verbally abused the officiating team of their match against Red Lions when they suffered a defeat. Among others, Mbolembole with the aid of his assistant accused the referee of many other unprintable crimes and used abusive words towards him for making some decisions that made them unhappy.

SULOM has so far slapped the two with a two match ban a fine of MK 150,000 each. Nomads are already reeling under a burden of another penalty of playing games away from home after their fans caused fracas over the results of a game. They have two matches to have away as part of the ban before it is automatically lifted.
