Msusa appointed archbishop for Blantyre by Pope

Pope Francis has appointed Right Reverend Thomas Luke Msusa as archbishop of the Blantyre archdiocese, replacing Archbishop Tarcizius Ziyaye who relocated to Lilongwe, the announcement has been made today.

At the time of his appointment, Reverend Msusa was with the Zomba diocese.

In the meantime, Right Reverend Montfort Sitima who is the auxiliary bishop for the diocese will be in charge of the diocese as it has always been until such a time when bishop Msusa will take over.
