Dates for 2014 Presidential debates announced

The Malawi Electoral Commission has announced the dates when the 2014 Presidential debates will be held. The debates, which will be the first of a kind in Malawi politics, will be held in all the three regions of the country: the North, the Centre and the South.
The debates have been slated to start in the North on March 25 next year before being moved to Lilongwe on April 10. They will finish with Blantyre on May 14, 6 days before elections.
The Malawi Electoral Commission said that it had instituted an independent body to look into the organizing of the debates.
