World leaders, including the American President Barack Obama and his wife, are expected to attend the funeral of South Africa’s former President, Nelson Mandela, who died on Thursday at 95.

According to the office of the Presidency of South Africa, the list of the dignitaries that are to attend the funeral ceremony that will be held at the FNB stadium also known as soccer city is yet to be thoroughly completed but the American first couple had already confirmed their attendance.

Mandela is expected to be buried in a traditional style at his home village of Qunu on Sunday, December 15. However, Tuesday, December 10, has been set aside to have a funeral ceremony for the African statesman.
