Just days after the burial of the country’s and the world’s great leader, Nelson Mandela, a sect of South Africans have started calling for the resignation of the country’s current President, Jacob Zuma.
In an online petition, it has been declared that the people want President Zuma to resign in the interests of good governance, democracy and the Republic of South Africa.
The petition has further gone on to register that Zuma has brought the country into disrepute at the international level by his actions.
President Zuma has lately come under heavy criticism after being discovered that he used a substantial some of money illegally to upgrade his personal home. Not long ago, he was criticized by a sect of his countrymen for calling Malawian roads backward — it later turned into a joke, the remark, at Mandela’s funeral.
