Spokesperson of the grand coalition of civil society organizations that organized the Black Mondays which were as well labelled as Satanic Mondays by some overzealous pastor on the national television simply for using a black attire, Chris Chisoni, has however said that they have not given up on the protests.

President Banda is believed to have sent the pastors who paraded on Television to dissuade the general populace from joining the protest. However, it is doubtful that people are failing to subscribe to the black Monday notion due to the pastors’ remarks.
