The 2014 elections will not only affect the general landscape of the nation in the next five years, hoping fate will not do anything, but will also affect the exam calendar of the Standard 8 pupils and Form two students that have to sit for the exam.

According to information that the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) has released, the 2014 Primary school leaving certificate and junior certificate examinations will be written on dates that will be communicated later next year but after elections.

Traditionally, the examinations were written in the period starting from May, which is the same month in which the elections are to be held.
