Malawi must be a blessed nation. It has a prayerful President.
Days after the President returned from Nigeria where she had gone for prayers at TB Joshua’s Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), the President has today joined Malawians at COMESA hall in the commercial capital of Blantyre where there are national prayers being held.
The prayers that have attracted patrons from various religious affiliations have been organized to pray for the nation in view of the various ills afflicting the nation including the Cashgate scandal.
The prayers will also pray for the elections coming in 2014.
The theme of the prayers is ‘Lord heal our land’.
Critics of the President, however, have wondered why the President had to travel all the way to Nigeria when as well she knew that the prayers of Malawians can be heard by God.
