South African President, Jacob Zuma, has told how he used to practise witchcraft against white people.

Speaking to supporters at KaNyamazane, outside Mbombela in Mpumalanga yesterday, Zuma said he had a history in Ka-Nyamazane.

“That’s why I came here now,” he said, speaking in isiZulu.

“I’m home here. I used to practice witchcraft around here, bewitching Boers during apartheid,” the President reportedly said.

Zuma went on to promise the crowd that if the ANC was re-elected with over 90% of the popular vote, he would come back to the village to celebrate.

“If you give us 90% upwards during the elections, we are coming here to slaughter cows. Less than 90% and I don’t come,” he said.

He told the crowd the ANC will run South Africa forever and ever and that he wanted to change the constitution, but needed a big win to do so.

“We want a huge majority this time because we want to change certain things that couldn’t be changed with a small majority . . . People talk about a constitution they have never seen. We saw that constitution,” he said.

The ANC government is predicted to win this year’s elections with around 60% of the vote, but experts forecast it will lose some popular support.
