Airtel has announced that it has appointed a new Director for its Malawi offices after the resignation of its director, Saulos Chilima, who has joined politics as a running mate to the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) leader, Peter Mutharika.
In a brief statement, Airtel has announced that it has appointed Mr. Amadou Dina who is the current financial director of the company to be in an acting capacity.
The company has indicated that it will appoint Mr. Chilima’s replacement in due course, according to the statement that has been signed by the CEO for Airtel Africa, Christian de Faria.
