The revelations led to public anger as this has greatly affected service delivery by government.

Some of the badly affected sectors include health, education and general infrastructure.

And speaking to the media, Information Minister and government spokesperson, Brown Mpinganjira disclosed that British auditors have finally handed over the forensic report to the auditor general.

Mpinganjira said the auditor general has presented the report to minister of finance Maxwell Mkwezalamba, who is now expected to have it over to parliament  on Monday for public’s access.

Malawians have been anxiously waiting to learn more about the developments leading to the scandal, which has led to the arrest of over sixty people including government workers and business persons.
