CNN has described Lake of Stars Festival as one of the most respected Festivals in Africa. CNN reported that there is never a dull moment at this invent; some performers have been known to do their sets from trees, while the Minister of Tourism even skydived into the Festival. The festival has been hailed variously as “simply the finest festival in the World” and “the world’s most spectacular music festival” by major media outlets. The festival also has been hailed for incorporating International artists who are paid a fee for their performance such as The Noisettes, Oliver Mtukudzi, and Freshly Grounds from previous seasons of the festival. The lake of stars festival has been running annually for the past decade and will this year, be held at Sunbird Nkopola Beach in Mangochi.
