Chileka International Airport on Sunday was indefinitely closed down due to hazardous potholes that have developed at the Airport.

The airport is said to have been closed for two weeks for the maintenance work to be carried at the site.

Malawi airlines spokesperson, Maganizo Mazeze said they received an advice from the Department of Civil Aviation  of the suspension of flight at Chileka.
