SOUTHERN REGION POLICE SHAKES UP

As the blame game continues in the violence that erupted a week ago in Thyolo where two people were left dead, there has been a shakeup in the police service for the southern region.
Commissioner for the Southern Region Wilson Matinga has been transferred to Zomba while Thyolo Police Officer- In-Charge Mr. Casper Chalera will be Commandant at Central Region Training Centre in Lilongwe.
National Police Spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Rhoda Manjolo described the transfers as normal.
Her Excellency Dr Joyce Banda has on several occasion blamed the DPP as the perpetrator of Thyolo saga.
