Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) Director Andrew Gonani has denied media reports that the hospital is not having enough medical supply to cover more than three months as it has just received medical supplies from the Central Medical Stores.
The remarks comes barely few days after Nation Newspaper carried a story that Doctors at the Hospital are digging deep in their pocket to buy drugs for the patient .
“At the moment we have drugs which will last for the next three months or so. We have just received our monthly medical stock from the Central Medical Stores and other donors,” he said.
However, Gonani admitted that the hospital does not have all the drugs that the hospital needs.
