Her Excellency Dr Joyce Banda on Monday said the forthcoming tripartite election is a chance for Malawi to audit her two years rule in the country.
Banda said this at Chiweta in Rumphi where she donated a house at Khwawa under Mudzi Transformation Trust.
” you have to look at the problems we have had and what happened to them. You cannot vote for DPP which killed 20 unarmed Malawians for protesting or MCP with its bag of atrocities. MCP forced women to buy cards for the unborn babies. Do we want that to happen? “Banda queried.
The Malawi leader also appealed for a peaceful campaign and election.
In his speech, PP Provincial Chairperson for the north Reverend Christopher Mzomera Ngwira said Banda should continue because Men are careless.
“Even as drivers men are the same that is why our garages have a stock pile of crushed vehicles,” Reverend Ngwira said.
President Banda took over the office of President due to the sudden death of the late Professor Bingu Wa Mutharika on April 5 2012.
