Flames Young star Frank ‘Gabadihno’ Mhango has put Malawi on the Map  as he has scooped both  the club’s top scorer  and players’ player award in ABSA premier league in South Africa.

Mhango has pocketed  R70,000 which is equivalent to MK2.9 million at the event that happened on Sunday night.

Speaking after the prize presentation last night, Mhango said: “I am so proud to have won both these awards and I want to tell people out there that hard work and determination pays off.

“Next season I want to score even more goals and I am full of confidence and belief … winning these awards have capped off a great season for me personally and for the team as a whole”.

Other awards went to Clayton Daniels  and Trevor Lamola.

This is the first season for Ex- Bullets  striker to play in Celtic as well as ABSA premier league.
