After being accused of being gay and lying about his family background, Peter Mutharika’s children for the first time have landed in Malawi. This is only five days to the elections.

Mutharika’s two daughters, Moyenda and Monique, arrived this afternoon via the Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) and were welcomed by some Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) gurus that included the party’s director of operations, Ben Phiri.

The coming of Mutharika’s daughters according to some sources within the party is a sign that the party means business and they are taking over government come May 21.

“They will be there for the swearing in ceremony of their father and this will happen,” said a party supporter on the social media of Facebook.

The DPP leader has been hit by accusations of having been gay and having no family and actually lying about it.
