National Salvation Front (NASAF) Presidential hopeful in the May 20 tripartite election has said he will continue with plans  to construct a first class market and a stadium in Chitipa district despite performing poorly in the election.

NASAF president James Nyondo said this in an interview with one of the local media house in the country.

In his speech, Nyondo said what he said during campaign to construct a new market and a stadium in the district was not just uttered to attract people to vote for him but he meant it.

Unofficial results shows that Nyondo in the Parliamentary seat is trailing on third position with 6359 votes.
