Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) has disclosed that it will this evening announce official results for Parliamentary and Local Government Elections.

According to the information sourced at the body’s website, indicate that the announcement will start at 6pm  at National Tally Centre in Blantyre.

MEC through its Chairperson Maxon Mbendera failed to announce the results on Friday when official results for Presidential race were announced and the body asked for extension of time to 72 hours which expires today.
