Alliance for Democracy (Aford) members have blamed the party President Enock Chihana for the poor performance of the party in the just ended tripartite election and asked for apology.

The Members are accusing Chihana the lonely Member of Parliament and the President of the party of selling the party to the former ruling People’s Party (PP) for personal gain, hence, downfall of the party.

But Chihana blasted these claims and attributed the failure to the fighting that was happening within the party.

Aford went to the May 20 tripartite election while in Alliance with PP and Chihana was promised to be made the second Vice President.

Meanwhile Chihana has hinted that the Alliance between the two parties will still continue despite PP’s failure to secure victory in the May 20.
