The swearing in ceremony of newly elected Members of Parliament has entered the second and final day in Lilongwe with about 97 MPs already sworn in.

The swearing in ceremony is being presided over by Chief Justice Anastazia Msosa.

According to information gatherered by Face of Malawi, after the ceremony new MPs will go in a week-long training session to be held at Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC) in the Capital.

Notable MPs who have been already been sworn-in include Patricia Kaliati and her husband, son to former President Roy Kachali and Malawi Congress Party (MCP) President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.

Meanwhile supporters putting on party cloths are denied to attend the function.
