President Professor Author Peter Mutharika will this morning deliver his first State of the National Address at the National Assembly.

According to information from  the office of President, Mutharika is expected to arrive at Parliament building anytime from now and the address will start at 10am.

The national address by President Mutharika will mark the opening of Parliament deliberations where in other things, Parliamentarians are expected to debate on the 2014/15 national budget which will later be presented by Minister of Finance.

This year’s parliament has been delayed due to misunderstandings that locked the May 20 tripartite election.
