President Professor Author Peter Mutharika will today wed his long confidante girlfriend former lawmaker Gertrude Hendrina Maseko of Balaka at St Michael and All Angels Church in Blantyre.

According to the information sourced from the State House, the officiation is expected to start at 10am this morning.

After the ceremony, the new couple will travel in an ope van around the town of Blantyre before heading to Thyolo at Ndata Farm where the reception will be held later in the afternoon.

Mutharika 74, hails from  Thyolo .
